1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using SparkRead, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be 13 or older to create your own account. Younger students may use SparkRead with parent, guardian, teacher, or school authorization.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans (Premium, Teacher, Founder) renew monthly via Stripe until cancelled. The Founder plan ($6.99/mo) is limited to the first 327 customers and locks pricing for 12 months from purchase. Cancel anytime from your account or by emailing us.
4. Acceptable use
Do not abuse AI endpoints, scrape content, or attempt to circumvent rate limits. Free-tier AI use is capped to protect service quality; paid subscribers receive higher limits.
5. Content & IP
SparkRead retains all rights to platform code, design, passages we author, and AI-generated coaching prompts. You retain rights to your own annotations and uploaded content.
6. Disclaimer
SparkRead is provided "as-is" without warranties. We strive for accuracy but AI-generated analysis should be reviewed by a teacher or guardian for high-stakes decisions.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced via email or in-product.
